Master Gardener Volunteers, of the Clemson Extension Tri-County Master Gardener Association (TCMGA), are available year-round to answer your gardening questions.
Tri-County Master Gardeners are available Monday through Friday in all three county extension offices (in person or by phone, and probably by email), and often on weekends at their “Ask a Master Gardener” events.
If you need help dealing with an annoying bug, pesky weed you might be asked to bring in a sample of the bug or weed.
The volunteer Master Gardeners are passionate about what they do! From manning an Ask A Master Gardener table at local farmers' markets, or helping the general public at the county Master Gardener offices, they help the general public with any and all questions on gardening.
If you need information of growing certain plants in South Carolina, there is a website that you can go to that you can trust – The Clemson Extension Service has a wonderful website that the public can use to find information on growing nearly anything! The Home & Garden Information Center – hgic.clemson.edu – is a user-friendly site that can help answer many common questions. You can also call any of the Tri-Country Master Gardener offices, serving Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties. Our Master Gardeners will be happy to help you!
