Charleston County Republican Party
What
An opportunity to vote for new leadership in the Charleston County Republican Party.
Republicans meet in groups by precinct, to elect:
(a) officers of the precinct (president, etc.),
(b) ‘executive committeeman’, and
(c) delegates to county convention.
Why
So that you can vote for your Precinct’s President, & County Rep (EC).
So that you can be elected to be a delegate to County Convention.
(Or, so that you can elect others as delegate to County Convention.)
Who then vote for County Chair, & State GOP Rep (EC).
When
Once every 2 years
Saturday March 25 @ 10:00 am
Where
District 2 of Charleston County has 43 Precincts; including Mt. Pleasant Precincts 1 - 39, Isle of Palms Precincts 1A, B, C, and Sullivans Island.
Meeting at: LUCY BECKHAM HIGH SCHOOL; 1560 Mathis Ferry Road.
How
The precinct president runs the meeting, per an agenda and rules.
If no precinct president exists, then a temporary president is elected on the spot to run the meeting.
Makeup Date — for Precinct Re-Org
• If unable to attend on March 25.
• April 10; second Monday.
• One hour prior to the regular montly CCRP meeting.

Delegates elect the:
(a) Chairman of Charleston County Republican Party;
(b) State Executive Committeeman.
Executive Committeeman (EC)
County EC — represents Precinct at monthly County Executive Committee meeting.
State EC — represents County at monthly State Executive Committee meeting
